Case study – Caroline, on becoming a Tax Manager
Following her degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice Studies, Caroline Rowley worked for a legal firm which provided valuable Dispute Resolution experience. She joined Source Advisors in February 2015, beginning in the role of Account Manager. Caroline went on to study for her AAT qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians) via distance learning, through a training contact with Source Advisors. Through this specialised training and with her in-depth knowledge of the R&D tax relief scheme, Caroline supports our clients by ensuring up-to-date, accurate and fully compliant claims.
Caroline’s training included working through each AAT qualification (Levels 2, 3 and 4) via online coursework, live seminars and independent study spread over 6 years and undertaking 17 exams in total. She is now a qualified MAAT.
