However, our dedication to the R&D and IP marketplace and the support for our accounting partners and clients will remain the same as we seek to add more services to support innovative companies in the UK and their advisors.

What is the new company name for GovGrant?
On 31 March 2023, GovGrant was acquired by Source Advisors LLC. Our company name changed on 1 February 2024 from Government Grant & Tax Consultants Limited (trading as GovGrant) to Source Advisors Limited (trading as Source Advisors). It’s business as usual for our clients and partners, we are the same great business with a new name.
Who are Source Advisors?
Source Advisors is a specialised tax consulting firm providing R&D tax credits and other incentive solutions for 40 years in the US and 20 years here in the UK. We have a global team of over 250 professionals to serve our clients and our accounting partners. As Source Advisors we share a joint vision deeply rooted in quality, relationships, and creating the very best working culture for our people.
This is an exciting step in our journey as a business as we turbocharge our growth and take our message and our services to even more accountants and businesses in the UK.
Apart from the company name what else is changing?
Your UK team will remain the same. There will be no changes in personnel other than the new faces we are recruiting to support our plans for growth. We continue to provide unique expertise, tailored solutions, and stellar client service.
On 1 February our email addresses and website changed to sourceadvisors.co.uk. There is no need for you to take any action, you can continue to use the govgrant.co.uk email address and website links will be redirected without interruption.
What happens with any GovGrant contracts or invoicing documentation?
Your current contracts or partnership agreements with GovGrant are unaffected, but any future contracts will be made with Source Advisors Ltd. You will notice that Source Advisors will appear on invoices, documents, and on your client/partner portal from 1 February 2024.
How does the new company name impact any claims currently with HMRC?
HMRC is aware of our change in company name. You can rest assured that any claims that are in progress won’t be impacted or slowed down as a result of the move to the Source Advisors name.
