Intellectual Property Associate

Location: London, Hybrid

Primary responsibility

We are looking for a commercially aware IP Associate who is highly driven and keen to develop their skills in a high growth business. You will be supporting with existing work for a variety of innovative UK-based clients alongside supporting internal staff with the acquisition of new clients. This highly visible and important role delivers genuine commercial value to our clients and offers excellent prospects for growth and expansion for the right person.

This position will most likely suit candidates with experience as either an IP Paralegal, Patent Analyst or IP co-ordinator/administrator that is looking for a more value driven, commercially focused role. You will have some experience in the world of IP and have some understanding of the UK’s IP regime.

Our core service is to deliver innovation funding and to provide real business value through our new IP services. In this role, you will be seen as an IP champion internally. You will work closely with our IP & Policy Lead to create content for new client acquisition, support existing client relationships and provide administrative support to increase operational efficiencies. There will be opportunities to assist clients with commercialising their innovations and access further funding. We are ultimately looking for a highly ambitious individual who is looking to elevate their career in IP to the next level.
